Velocity Powerboats is back building and the new 262CC is a prime example of the work that is coming out of the new factory in Sanford, Florida. The hull is the same pad-bottom hull that helped the company claim multiple offshore racing titles. Available with single or twin outboards, the 26-foot boat reportedly runs nearly 70 mph with a single Mercury Verado 400 outboard.
Standard features for anglers include a large insulated fish box, two livewells with LED lighting and tackle storage. Thick padding on the gunwale makes pulling in the big fish a little more comfortable.
When it comes to entertaining, the 262CC has abundant seating that includes the bow, a rear bench and a two-person seat in front of the console. The two-person helm has flip-up pads for when the water gets rough and a hardtop protects the gauges from the elements. The 262CC has a private head and shower in the console.
