The 272 CC is so new that Sailfish had the first hull hit the water for a photo shoot in early February. From the spy photos, the 272 CC looks like the next-generation center-console for the company that builds boats from 19 to 36 feet.
The most dramatic update is on the transom where the swim platform wraps around the twin Yamaha engines, giving anglers an opportunity to fight for fish. The 272 CC comes standard with 25 rod holders. When the boat isn’t being used for fishing, the swim platform can be used to get in and out of the water thanks to a fold-down ladder. Sailfish also provides a dive door to port.
The 272 CC uses the company’s exclusive Variable Degree Stepped Hull and delivers a smooth ride even in the roughest of conditions. With a 177-gallon tank, the sportfisher should provide excellent range to the favorite fishing spot and back.
