Harry Nilsson once sang “One is the Loneliest Number,” but for a couple of lucky Concept Boats owners they hope to be the only one.

Concept Boats announced it is building an Extreme Edition of its 27-footer and 30-footer powered by a Seven Marine 627SV engine. The catch is only one of each will be built in 2020.

The Opa-Locka, Florida, builder is accepting deposits for the Concept Extreme Edition. Concept said the boat is for buyers “who appreciate quality, design and the exclusivity of being the only person on the plant that has one.” Once Concept Boats has received a deposit, buyers can customize the boat by selecting a design, color elements and exotic finishes.

The 27’ Open Deck Series is only offered in a single outboard and with the Seven Marine 627SV engine on the transom will be a big horsepower jump for the model. Standard bow and rear seating accommodate up to eight passengers. Serious anglers can remove the rear seating for more space. Further customization includes adding a live well to your helm seat or a freshwater shower system on the transom or console.

The 30’ Open Deck Series is offered with twin engines with a maximum outboard rating of 700 horsepower. While moving to a single Seven Marine is a step down in power, any lost speed will be made up in weight savings with one less outboard on the transom.

The 30-footer is configured for fishing with ample seating, fish boxes and rod racks. High gunwales and reverse chines provide a smooth and dry ride.

Seven Marine’s V8 627-hp is the largest horsepower outboard on the market, introduced at the 2015 Miami International Boat Show.
