Twin Vee’s new 240 DC ECO will appeal to environmentally-minded consumers. The twin-hull boat is powered by Suzuki’s all-new 140 horsepower Eco outboard motors, which include Suzuki’s Micro-Plastics Filter device. The filter device collects microplastics near the water’s surface while the boat is running, helping reduce micro-plastic pollution.

Twin Vee says it will use sustainable materials such as balsa wood to build the 240 DC ECO (24’ LOA, 8’8” beam) and thanks to a carbon-fiber outer layer, the boat is 35 percent lighter than conventional fiberglass construction.

Anglers will appreciate the tackle center built into the port helm seat base as well as the door to access the Gemlux rod holders on the transom. The swim platform comes standard with a stainless-steel boarding ladder. Twin Vee includes a large livewell and a smaller box at the transom.

Families will enjoy the abundant seating in the bow with removable forward-facing backrests. To access the bow, the wraparound windshield opens in the center. Additional seating is in the cockpit with Llebroc helm seats with armrests and a 65” bench seat that can fold away when fishing.

Twin Vee offers the 24 DC ECO with an optional gunwale-to-gunwale pan top and is available with a powder-coating package upgrade. www.twinvee.com
